Student Government functions as the officially recognized governing structure of the student body at Mercy College of Ohio. All student organizations fall under the auspices of the Student Government. All students, both land -based and online can be members of the organization. Student Government represents both the Toledo and Youngstown locations. Voting members of Student Government consist of one chosen representative from each academic degree program and one representative from each officially recognized registered student organization. This includes online students (RN-BSN, Medical Imaging, Healthcare Administration and Health Information Technology). Student Government is the governing body over Registered Student Organizations (RSO's). Student Government also manages, disburses and monitors spending of the Student Activity Fee by working with and holding accountable RSO's.
