It is the Counseling and Wellness Center's Mission to promote personal growth and wellness for all students through personal counseling, group counseling, campus programming, crisis response, and the development of student policy.
In keeping with the mission, the goals are to:
1. Support the mission, values, and vision of the College including all of its programs and services.
2. Support the mission, values, and vision of the Division of Student Affairs including all of its programs and services.
3. Holistically promote the personal and academic development of students.
a. Develop policy that safeguards students’ mental health needs.
b. Utilize evidenced-based practices to assist students in meeting personal and academic goals.
c. Provide outreach to students, faculty, and staff through classroom visits, wellness programming, crisis intervention, and other mental health programming.
d. Serve as a resource and consultant for faculty and staff in their promotion of student success.
e. Network with other mental health professional to insure excellent services for all students.
