Students should start the financial aid process as soon as taxes are completed. The FASFA should be completed at least two weeks before coming to SOAR. This will allow the financial aid office to assist you with final steps of the process.

At SOAR, you can mingle with current students, faculty, and staff. You will be introduced to financial aid, registration, housing, Mercy College policy and procedures and get answers to your questions. You will also register for your classes at SOAR.

Yes – all students must complete SOAR before beginning classes at Mercy College.

Accuplacer testing and academic advising must be completed at least 48 hours before SOAR. Your initial acceptance letter will describe the Accuplacer testing procedure only if it is required of you.
