Welcome to Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. We are delighted that you have decided to pursue your post secondary studies with us. During the next several semesters you will be required to complete a number of assignments, activities and assessments related to the certificate, associate or baccalaureate program in which you are enrolled. You will have a broad range of experiences in the areas of education, professional coursework, and co curricular activities, all of which will contribute in significant ways to your personal and professional development.
One way to capture and document the changes that undoubtedly will occur during your years at Mercy is to maintain a portfolio that speaks to your growth over time. Moreover, we believe that the process itself of constructing and maintaining a portfolio can be of both immediate and longterm benefit to you. Therefore, the college requires that all students submit a portfolio of their work in the final semester of their academic program.
