Adult Ballet (check back soon for dates)
Adult Ballet is being offered for the first time at Mercy College.  No experience necessary.

The Benefits of Ballet
* teaches posture, co-ordination and musical appreciation
* encourages poise, grace, creative and artistic expression
* sculpts your body and tones your muscles without bulking
* promotes fitness and cardiovascular exercise
* strengthens back and abdominal muscles
* most importantly is highly enjoyable and fun!

Students are requested to wear comfortable clothing to class and bring ballet shoes.

Cardio Kickboxing (check back soon for dates)
Cardio Kickboxing provides the opportunity to learn techniques for cardiovascular conditioning, body toning, strengthening, flexibility and stress reduction. Physical benefits include a stronger core, improved muscle tone, improved balance, and better posture. This combines elements of boxing, martial arts techniques with heart pumping cardio!

Personal Fitness and Weight Training (June 9 – August 18, 2010 4-5pm)
This course is designed for students who are interested in learning techniques for total body conditioning, toning, strengthening, increased flexibility, and stress management. Physical benefits are a flatter stomach, stronger back, improved muscle tone, and better posture. This is a total body conditioning class done on a mat and with light weights. Students will be required to wear comfortable clothing to class, and bring a firm mat, light weights, and water.
