Resources

Every resource that you need to be successful in your academic pursuit of a health care career is on the campus of Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. The library provides many materials, such as CD-ROMs, media and other resources designed to support your educational and information needs. To increase your access to materials at major academic libraries located in Ohio as well as allow for database research, OhioLINK: (Ohio Library And Information Network) is available.

Most of your classes will involve using various software programs to fulfill assignments. In addition to the basics, the Library Computer Lab has the complete Microsoft Office software suite, a scanner and many practice tests and programs in your field of endeavor.

If you feel the need for guidance in adjusting to campus life, the Mercy College Mentoring Program is available to help you achieve your academic goals. The mentoring program allows both the mentor and the mentee to benefit from a mutual learning experience.

Peer tutoring, another service provided to help you toward success, offers a supportive, non-threatening approach to bolstering your confidence in your coursework. Since all learning centers on you, the student, this collaboration works well for both you and your peer tutor.
