The Associate of Science Degree Program in Health Information Technology (HIT) of Mercy College of Northwest Ohio is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM); 233 N. Curriculum

All curriculum requirements for the associate of science degree in health information technology are so arranged that students follow a sequence of prerequisite courses building on their previous studies and preparing them for future courses.

The Associate of Science Degree Program in Health Information Technology at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Healtlh Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) in association with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to apply to write a national examination conducted by AHIMA to become credentialed as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
