Mission Statement
To educate and prepare students for entry-level Radiologic Technology positions as competent health care professionals.
Program Goals
To develop graduates who:
- Demonstrate clinical competence in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills in radiography.
- Employ effective communication skills.
- Understand the importance of continuous learning and professional development.
- Practice in a manner reflective of Christian values.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Produce diagnostic quality radiographs.
- Apply radiation protection to patient, self and others.
- Provide age-appropriate patient care and comfort.
- Function effectively in a variety of clinical situations.
- Evaluate radiographic images for appropriate quality.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate appropriate communication skills in the clinical environment.
- Practice professional behaviors.
- Participate in additional educational opportunities.
- Integrate Christian values/core abilities with clinical practice.
