Mercy College Online

Hello and WELCOME to the Distance Education Division at Mercy College of Ohio. The Staff and Faculty, associated with Distance Education are a dedicated group of Individuals who are committed to developing and facilitating high quality educational opportunities for students through the use of online education. Through our Learning management System (LMS), Desire2Learn (D2L), we are able to deliver courses to students locally taking traditional seated classes as well as those from across the state and nation, offering the opportunity to pursue a degree from Mercy College with the flexibility needed for today’s students.

The staff members within the Distance Education Division are responsible for assisting faculty and students in the development and facilitation of traditional seated courses, hybrid courses and fully online courses. Using D2L, faculty teaching traditional seated or hybrid courses can offer additional resources and technological capabilities to their students that can be accessed and accomplished from the comfort of their homes.

As you continue learning more about Distance Education at Mercy College, should you have any questions regarding online courses or the Distance Education Division, please do not hesitate to contact me or one of the other Distance Education Staff Members.
