Journals

The Library subscribes to printed journals that support the educational programs of Mercy College. Journals can be used in the Library, but do not circulate. Click here for a list of the journals to which the Library currently subscribes:

Older issues and discontinued titles of historical importance are maintained in storage and are available upon request.

Our membership in OPAL(Ohio Private Academic Libraries) allows us access to OhioLINK’s EJC(Electronic Journal Center) and databases with full text articles.

The EJC is a source for journals listed alphabetically by title. You search for a particular article by first finding the journal title, then locating the year, then the particular issue; as if you were searching on library shelves for printed journals. Click here for the EJC.

Databases with full text articles must be searched by subject. On any database, you enter your search terms and receive a listing of articles, some of which are available in full text.

You will need your bar code number from the back of your Mercy College Library Card to access journals on line.
