MEPAP – Part I (includes 90 hr. classroom and 90 hr. practicum)
An Activity Director plans, organizes and develops the overall operation of the Activity Department to assure that an on going program of activities is available to meet the interests and the physical, mental and psychosocial well being of each resident. The Activity Director participates in formulating the plan of care for each resident and ensures that the proper activities are presented to fit the plan. This course prepares you to work in a long term care, adult day care, or assisted living facility, senior centers and senior retirement communities. It is a very valuable profession and one that is critical to the development and stimulation of those they serve. The MEPAP – PART I follows the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals curriculum guidelines and is applicable toward national certification.

MEPAP – Part II (includes 90 hr. classroom and 90 hr. practicum)
This course is designed for the experienced activity professional seeking to refine their management and leadership skills. Each class focuses on a specific supervisory principle and practice which will enable the activity manager to provide meaningful and effective programming while enhancing personal and departmental productivity.

MEAPAP – PART I & II follow the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals curriculum guidelines and are applicable toward national certification.
