Summer and Fall Registration

Final Reminder that Summer and Fall Registration begins:

March 22 for students with 60+ earned credit ours (both Mercy and Transfer)

March 29 for students with 0-59 earned credit hours (both Mercy and Transfer)

Please make sure that you do not have any holds on your account prior to registering for classes.  If you do, please see Diane Rahn in the Business Office on the 2nd floor of the Madison Building or Darnell Irvine at the Youngstown Campus.



Student Satisfaction Survey

Remember to complete the Student Satisfaction Survey before you register for classes! 

Please note: Your student ID login is to be used only so we know who has completed the survey so that we are able to distribute the below prizes.  We will NOT know what answers are associated with what ID.  This survey is done by a third-party, and they only provide us the results.  So, feel comfortable knowing that your opinions are valuable and will not be associated with you!

Remember:

Mercy College is requiring all students to complete the Student Satisfaction Survey for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.  The survey will take only 10-15 minutes, and must be completed BEFORE you REGISTER.  If you complete the survey before on or before April 16, 2010, your name will be placed in a drawing to win one of the following 17 prizes:

You can find your cumulative earned hours in EMPOWERME under  Student Schedule (Detail) → Overall Undergraduate Totals (Cr Ern)

*If you have a BUSINESS HOLD on your account, you will not be allowed to register until that is rectified.  Please see Diane Rahn to address any Business Hold you may have on your account.

**Please remember to see your advisor prior to registering for classes ONLY if you are:

  • An Associate of General Studies Student; or
  • A student that is not yet in his/her program of study (which means, you are currently NOT or have not been enrolled in any Nursing, Rad Tech, or HIT course)

***An On-Line Registration HOW TO MANUAL can be found on the forms table outside of the Registrar Offices on the 5th Floor of the Madison side of the College.

****A member of the Registrar’s Office will be available in the Library Computer Lab Monday, March 22 and 29 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to assist students with the Registration Process.

Fall 2009 Student Planners

Toledo Campus:  Student Planners will be available the first week of classes (8/24/09).  Planners will be available at the welcome table in the 3rd floor Jefferson elevator lobby Monday through Wednesday.

Youngtown Site:  Student Planners will be available the second week of classes.  Please see Darnell Irvine to obtain your planner.

There are still seats available.This course prepares you to work in a long-term care, adult day care, assisted living facility senior center or retirement community. IMPORTANT FAFSA REMINDER

The Financial Aid Office wants to remind students that the FAFSA is a FREE application to apply for federal and state aid (grants & loans).  The correct website to apply for aid is www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Some students have applied at incorrect websites and have paid third party servicers to complete their FAFSA.
