Mercy College of Ohio, through generous gifts from individuals, friends, and alumni, as well as academic, professional and business organizations, is pleased to offer multiple scholarships. The purpose of these scholarships is to give recognition and support to academically strong students attending Mercy College. Please visit the Mercy College web site (http://www.mercycollege.edu/financial-aid/scholarships/) for up-to-date scholarship information and to fill out an application. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2012. These scholarships will be awarded for fall 2012. The only form necessary to apply for federal and state financial aid (grants and loans) is the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility. For the 2012-13 academic year, the FAFSA application is now available on-line at http://www.fafsa.gov/. Mercy College of Ohio’s school code is 030970-00. Earn some extra income with fitness!
Click HERE to enroll now in the Mercy College Personal Trainer course. This non-credit course is designed to give students the knowledge and understanding necessary to prepare for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam and become personal trainers. It includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on practice and a 15 hour clinical experience that will take place at the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center Fitness Center.
According to a salary survey conduced by the American Council on Exercise, personal trainers reported $42,204 annually ($21.42/hr) for full time and $18,648 annually ($24.57/hr with16 hours per week).

February 7 – March 31, 2012
Tuesday’s, 6-8 pm and
Every other Saturday (starting February 11), 9am – 12pm
Introductory Cost of Course:
$595 (textbook included) Paid in Full by December 31, 2011 or
$695 after January 1, 2012 , ACE Exam fee not included
