2/28/12 is fast approaching! Don’t forget to apply on-line at http://www.mercycollege.edu/financial-aid/scholarship-online-application/ and complete your application. Only one application is necessary to be considered for fall 2012 scholarships. Nursing students: remember to have two previous clinical instructor references submitted to the financial aid office by the 28th in order to be considered for nursing scholarships. OHAC encourages academic excellence and personal and community responsibility among all scholarship applicants. The OHAC Scholarship Committee will offer up to Seven (7) annual scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each for students enrolling in or attending an accredited college, university, community college, technical school or vocational school.
The Applicant must be a Public Housing or Section 8 Participant at time of application and the housing authority must be an OHAC Member.

Women in Service to Appalachia (WSA) is pleased to offer a Scholarship of $500 for an undergraduate or a graduate student. The scholarship is intended to benefit students who are actively involved in community service.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Postmarked by May 15, 2012. Applications not accepted cannot reapply another year. Award recipient will be notified by August 15, 2012.

The Florence Allen Scholarship program was established in 1924 to honor Judge Florence Ellinwood Allen, Ohio’s first woman Supreme Court justice. Scholarship funds are for the 2012-13 academic year. The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the establishment of the St. Francis Care Centre Foundation of Green Springs Scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00. The scholarship is made possible as a result of a grant from the St. Francis Hospital Foundation.
The scholarship can be awarded to students currently enrolled in health care Associates, Bachelor or higher degree programs, who have graduated from a Sandusky County, Ohio High School meeting the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled to a fully accredited college or university.
- Enrolled and completed one (1) year in a Health Care Associate Degree Program or enrolled and completed two (2) years in a Health Care Bachelor Degree Program.
- Preference for a 3.00 or higher GPA.
- Participated in one or more extra-curricular activities during the past year.
The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and fees.
DEADLINE: March 1, 2012
