The Nursing Welcome Packets will be mailed out during the next couple of weeks. These packets will give you information on health requirements, uniform ordering procedures, nursing orientation dates, and CPR information. Basically, anything a nursing student needs to know will be in the packets being mailed out the next two weeks. On Friday, May 21st, 2010, Ohio State Treasurer Kevin Boyce will be hosting a financial literacy workshop in Toledo. This event is free and open to the public for registration. Do you need a job for the summer? There are potential federal work study job openings here at Mercy College. You must be enrolled for at least six credit hours and have financial need (as determined by the FAFSA). If you are interested, please stop by the financial aid office to complete a job application. Matthews Medical Books will be on the Toledo campus May 6th and 7th to buy back your used books! Visit the Dunbar room, across from the student lounge, from 9 am to 5 pm on Thursday and 9 am to 2 pm on Friday to turn those books into cash! Supplies and products such as Stethoscopes, penlights, mugs, and clipboards will also be available. Graduates make sure to stop by and check out the diploma frames!
