This non-credit course is designed to give students the knowledge and understanding necessary to prepare for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam and become personal trainers. It includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on practice and a 15 hour clinical experience that will take place at the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center Fitness Center.
According to a salary survey conduced by the American Council on Exercise, personal trainers reported $42,204 annually ($21.42/hr) for full time and $18,648 annually ($24.57/hr with16 hours per week).
