Major Financial Aid Changes for 2012-2013

Beginning with the 2012-2013 FAFSA, students (and parents or spouse) will be expected to load 2011 Federal Tax information directly from the IRS onto your 2012-13 FAFSA. The Financial Aid office will no longer be able to accept paper copies of tax returns for verification purposes. Please read the attached changes as you prepare for applying for financial aid:

New Fitness Classes 2012

Mercy College is offering four fitness classes to the community and welcome Mercy employees to take advantage of the convenience, variety, and quality of the classes. New classes available this Spring are offering Zumba and Abs and Toning. At least one fitness class is offered Monday through Thursday at a variety of times in the Fourth floor Multipurpose room on the Madison Avenue side of Mercy College. Employees may use payroll deduction for payment.

Mercy College Institutional Scholarships

Mercy College of Ohio, through generous gifts from individuals, friends, and alumni, as well as academic, professional and business organizations, is pleased to offer multiple scholarships. The purpose of these scholarships is to give recognition and support to academically strong students attending Mercy College. Please visit the Mercy College web site (http://www.mercycollege.edu/financial-aid/scholarships/) for up-to-date scholarship information and to fill out an application. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2012. These scholarships will be awarded for fall 2012.
