Mock Interviews for Students

Need to brush up on your interviewing skills? For the next two weeks you can participate in a mock interview! In a mock interviw you can practice interviewing one-on-one and receive feedback on your personal strengths and opportunities for improvement. Interviews can be scheduled by appointment. The Nursing Programs at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio are nationally accredited and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The Associate of Science in Nursing program (AD) is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (last visit February 2009) and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (phone 404-975-5000). The program was last visited in October, 2008 and at the February, 2009 Board of Commissioners meeting was granted 8 year continuing accreditation (the maximum amount allowed).

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (last visit February 2009) and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE, phone 202-887-6791), last visit October, 2008 with a decision to grant continuing accreditation for 10 years (maximum allowed).

The BSN program is also accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (404-975-5000). The program sought initial accreditation with NLNAC at the time of the October AD visit. The program was granted initial accreditation for a period of 5 years (maximum allowed).

This can be verified on each of the accrediting bodies websites as well as calling the numbers listed above.



Attention Seniors-Career Networking Event

Come meet and greet representatives from government and not-for-profit organizations.  This is an intimate event designed for networking with organizations, discussing volunteer/employment opportunities, and practicing career development skills. Ace the Interview @ Toledo Main Library

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Business Technology department presents, Ace the Interview, a free program scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6 in the Huntington Meeting Room at Main Library, 325 Michigan St. Speaker, James Vanderbrink, a retired Human Resources executive, will teach participants how to prepare for the interview hot seat in this tough economy.
