Mercy College is offering four fitness classes to the community and welcome Mercy employees to take advantage of the convenience, variety, and quality of the classes. New classes available this Spring are offering Zumba and Abs and Toning. At least one fitness class is offered Monday through Thursday at a variety of times in the Fourth floor Multipurpose room on the Madison Avenue side of Mercy College. Employees may use payroll deduction for payment.

Mercy College of Ohio, through generous gifts from individuals, friends, and alumni, as well as academic, professional and business organizations, is pleased to offer multiple scholarships. The purpose of these scholarships is to give recognition and support to academically strong students attending Mercy College. The only form necessary to apply for federal and state financial aid (grants and loans) is the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility. Scholarships of $1,000 each are annually awarded and checks will be made out to the recipient’s school. Recipients are selected from applicants who meet eligibility requirements and have permanent residence in a community served by a Newcomer Funeral Home. The scholarship can be used in any area of study in the field of nursing. The application deadline is January 31, 2012.
