Major Financial Aid Changes for 2012-2013

Beginning with the 2012-2013 FAFSA, students (and parents or spouse) will be expected to load 2011 Federal Tax information directly from the IRS onto your 2012-13 FAFSA. The Financial Aid office will no longer be able to accept paper copies of tax returns for verification purposes. Please read the attached changes as you prepare for applying for financial aid:

The Financial Aid Office would like to remind all students February 28, 2012 is the deadline to apply for Mercy College scholarships. The checklist below will help you through the process. Toledo Campus Open House – February 18, 2012

Mercy College, Toledo Campus, will host an Open House on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. As always, we appreciate your help with this event!

As usual, I am asking that the program chairs/associate deans be in charge of organizing your own student volunteers for your lab areas, as you are the best judge of which students you feel are most qualified to represent your programs/divisions (I already have a list of volunteers from the Division of Nursing). Also, each program will need to have at least one representative staffing their table in J3302.

Room J3302 will be set-up on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. For those that set-up displays at Open House, please bring over and set-up your display anytime after 2 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012.

We are in need of VOLUNTEERS. It would be great to have students or faculty or staff volunteers for these duties:

Jefferson Avenue Greeters (by the elevators on the 3rd floor)
Escorts (walk guests from Madison Avenue lobby to room 3302)
Tour Guides (Providing a campus tour)
Refreshment Table Replenishers (in room 3302)
